The Client

Dreamr Productions incorporated a foundational sound to help build recognition of a new children’s board game.

The Problem

The board game was a newer product and the company hadn’t quite made a name for itself. Dreamr felt that sound identity was a perfect way to increase notoriety and boost engagement through their digital media marketing.

The goal was to create a foundational piece of rhythmic sound (a sonic logo) that could then be used to create all sorts of tonal (musical) and atonal (non musical) assets of sonic branding and sound marketing.

This sound project would be a cornerstone piece that could then branch over all aspects of the brand’s sound marketing.

The Solution

Dreamr made the physical board the instrument. By recording and editing together the sound of pieces falling onto the board, the opening of the box, and the snapping together of game play pieces, we were able to create a fun rhythmic beat.

This rhythmical element was created to portray what it was like to play the game itself.

The Results

The result was a fun stomp-esche sound that invigorated and created a desire to buy and play the game. The sound could also be transformed and transposed in multiple shapes and sounds to be used in future marketing campaigns.

This sound would create a uniformity, personality, and a relatability that in turn would entice the consumer to share with friends and family.
